Rochester Sensors Europe joined our parent company, Amphenol, at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2026 in Houston, one of the energy sector’s leading international events.
OTC brought together organisations from across the offshore oil, gas and wider energy industries to explore new technologies, discuss operational challenges and share perspectives on the future of the sector.
For Rochester Sensors Europe, the event provided an opportunity to demonstrate our TEK 880 Cellular Radar Monitor, TEK 920 PulseWave Radar Monitor and ongoing developments in tank-level sensing technologies, while engaging with customers, distributors and industry professionals from around the world.
A consistent theme throughout the exhibition was the increasing focus on reliable remote monitoring and data-driven asset management. As operations become more connected and geographically dispersed, dependable level measurement continues to play an important role in improving visibility, efficiency and operational decision-making.
Events such as OTC remain an important forum for understanding changing industry requirements and ensuring our sensing solutions continue to meet the needs of customers operating in demanding energy applications.
Following OTC, Rochester Sensors Europe was represented at Specialty & Agro Chemicals America, held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort & Convention Center in Savannah, Georgia. The event is a leading forum for chemical manufacturing, chemical technologies and industry services supporting the agrochemical and specialty chemical markets.
The event featured industry presentations, supplier showcases and an exhibition of companies serving the North American chemicals sector, providing valuable insight into market developments and emerging customer requirements.
For Rochester Sensors Europe, the event was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers and industry partners while highlighting our expertise in hazardous-area level and pressure monitoring applications. Particular interest was shown in our range of ATEX-certified, intrinsically safe solutions, including the TEK 880 Cellular Radar Monitor, designed for hazardous-zone chemical tanks and available in a PVDF housing option for highly corrosive environments, and the TEK 898 Cellular Pressure Exi, which provides intrinsically safe pressure monitoring for demanding industrial applications.
These solutions demonstrate Rochester Sensors Europe’s commitment to supporting customers operating in challenging chemical processing environments, where safety, regulatory compliance and reliable performance are critical. The event also provided an opportunity to build on our growing customer base and strengthen valued partnerships across the chemicals sector.
Attendance at both events enabled Rochester Sensors Europe to engage with customers across diverse industrial markets, gain valuable insight into evolving industry requirements and demonstrate sensing technologies that support safe, reliable and efficient operations in demanding environments.
